Greg Rice Makes it
Back-to-Back
Championships
with the 2007 Title
Greg Rice followed up his impressive 2006 championship with a dominant run to become the 2007 FormulaCar Magazine Formula First Challenge Cup Champion. With an expanded schedule and more driver competition, Greg set the pace from the first event to the last. Doug Seim put in another strong season with a win and five second place finishes to take a highly contested second place. Newcomer Dave Dawson put up some impressive drives (no doubt Rookie of the Year) for third. Look here for the final points standings for 2007.
Win Smith Racing enterprises announces Noah Smith as the winner of the 2007 FCM Formula First Challenge Master of Faster Competition. The award was given to the driver with the most Poles and Fast Laps during the series (while displaying the required sticker and uniform patch). Conrgatulations to Noah!
2007 FST Participation in FST on the Rise
Formula First and the FST class in growing rapidly througout the U.S. With regions adopting FST as a regional class, number have risen to exciting new levels. Below is a recap of entries as of 10/29/07. With more cars being built every day, 2008 FST entries could break the 300 mark.
